CHANNEL FOUR OPPORTUNITY FOR DEAF AND DISABLED FILM-MAKERS
December 1st, 2006
Maverick
TV and Channel 4 have asked us to tell you about their new opportunity for deaf
and disabled directors to get their first major broadcast credit. They
are looking for twelve
directors with recent television or film-making experience to bring their ideas
for strong, compelling stories which will appeal to a Channel 4 audience. They
will be supported in developing their ideas into distinctive, contemporary 30
minute documentaries. The choice of subject is wide open. What's important is
that the films are fresh and original with a broad, popular appeal.
